A few of our core programs

WaQi for Chronic Pain

WaQi for Chronic Pain: Back Pain Relief Series is an evidence-based online Tai Chi and Qigong program designed to relieve chronic back pain and musculoskeletal conditions. Blending Chinese medicine with modern science, it has shown significant improvements in pain relief, sleep quality, and overall well-being, offering a practical, home-based solution.

WaQi for Stress & Mood

Transform stress into strength and wisdom with this 15-minute lesson series, based on an NIH-funded clinical trial and WaQi fundamentals. Each lesson combines sitting meditation and classic Tai Chi and Qigong. The meditation, rooted in Chinese philosophy, addresses the roots of anxiety and stress, fostering a tranquil, resilient, and positive mindset. The movement component enhances relaxation, balance, and physical strength, capturing the core benefits of the NIH study.

WaQi for Sound Sleep

Enhance your sleep with this short, evidence-based program designed to reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Created by Dr. Yang and based on an NIH-funded RCT trial, the program features 10- to 15-minute lessons that combine guided stillness practices (sitting, standing, and lying down) with gentle Qigong movements. Rooted in traditional Qigong and Tai Chi, it fosters tranquil energy and has been shown to improve sleep and anxiety. Used at the Mayo Clinic and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, it’s an effective tool for achieving deeper, more restorative sleep.

WaQi for Balance

WaQi for Balance of the Mind and Body: Rooted in Master Yang’s doctoral research, this evidence-based program enhances functional balance and strength for individuals of all ages, with significant improvements observed in elderly participants averaging 80 years old—who showed a 10-year improvement in just 2 months. The program integrates both stillness (meditation in various postures) and movement (a 7-form routine with Qigong exercises) to boost physical balance, mental equilibrium, and a tranquil mind. It includes 15- to 20-minute lessons with exercises adaptable to any physical condition.

WaQi for Cancer Care

Calm the mind, deepen sleep, and strengthen the body with WaQi for Cancer Care, a program designed to help cancer patients and survivors manage stress, sleep issues, and fatigue. Developed by Dr. Yang Yang, drawing from over a decade of experience at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, this Tai Chi and Qigong-based program integrates standing and sitting meditation, classic Qigong movements, and martial arts agility training, including gentle to moderate cardio and deep breathing exercises.
